Who we are
Connect is operated by Kingdom Connect. This policy covers the Connect website and application. Organizations that use Connect decide what information about their events and people goes into their workspace, and are responsible for that information. For that content, Kingdom Connect acts as a service provider to the organization.
Information we handle
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and sign-in credentials, managed through our authentication service.
- SMS consent and messaging records: whether you opted in to SMS, when and how you provided consent, the phone number associated with that consent, and limited messaging activity such as message type, provider identifiers, send or delivery status and error codes.
- Workspace content: events, schedules, guest and team member records, invitations, travel and lodging assignments, host and driver details, notes and messages.
- Documents and logos: files that you or your guests upload.
- Activity and notifications: a record of changes made in a workspace and notices generated for users.
- Preferences: for example your saved light or dark theme.
- Email you send us: if you write to connect@kingdomconnecthq.com, we keep that correspondence to answer you.
Health and travel information
Connect lets guests provide information such as dietary needs, health-related notes, accessibility needs, arrival and departure details, addresses and lodging or transport arrangements. This can be sensitive. Provide it only when it is needed for the event. Organizers should collect the minimum necessary, restrict access to people who need it, and not use Connect as a medical record. Do not enter government identification, payment card numbers or detailed medical records.
How it is used
We use information to run Connect: to authenticate you, display and store workspace content, send invitation and notification emails, enforce plan limits, secure the service, diagnose problems and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information and we do not use workspace content for advertising.
SMS information and consent
Kingdom Connect uses your phone number and SMS consent records to honor your communication choices and, when SMS messaging is enabled and you have explicitly opted in, send event invitations, event reminders, schedule changes, cancellations, volunteer coordination and other event-related information for the organizations and events you participate in. We use limited messaging activity records to troubleshoot delivery, protect the service and honor opt-outs.
Providing a phone number or accepting the Terms of Service does not automatically enroll you in SMS. SMS consent is optional, and you can create and use your account without it. You can withdraw consent through your account settings or, when receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
An organizer can confirm that you already gave them permission to text you by checking the SMS permission box, so that Connect can send a first invitation or request text without you having an account. A phone number entered by an organizer is not consent by itself. We store the confirmation, the organizer, the number and the time; no permission-source note is required. The first text may identify the organizer and event, include date, time and request details, and include the same link that is in the email. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help; message and data rates may apply and frequency varies. Existing preferences, STOP replies and withdrawals are respected and are not overridden.
We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data or phone numbers and contact data collected for SMS with third parties for marketing purposes. Service providers process it only as necessary to provide the service.
Who can see it
- Workspace administrators can see the records, documents and assignments in their workspace, including guest travel and health notes that have been entered.
- Invited guests, hosts, drivers and team members can see the information relevant to them through their own link or account.
- Kingdom Connect staff may access data only when needed to operate the service, investigate a problem, provide requested support or meet legal obligations.
Service providers
Connect relies on infrastructure providers to operate: Supabase for authentication, the database and file storage for documents, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for hosted subscription Checkout and Customer Portal. Stripe handles payment methods and invoices; Connect stores workspace billing relationships, Stripe identifiers, subscription status, billing email and renewal information, not payment card details. These providers process data under their own terms and policies. Pages are hosted on our application hosting provider. If we add or change a provider that handles personal information, we will update this policy.
When SMS messaging is enabled, Twilio processes recipient phone numbers, message content and delivery information to provide SMS delivery on behalf of Kingdom Connect. This processing supports the service and is not sharing for third-party marketing purposes.
Links and tokens
Invitations, host, driver and team member forms and event packets are opened through unique private links containing a token. Anyone who holds a link may be able to use it, so share links only with the intended person and do not post them publicly. Organizers can issue replacements where the product supports it. Emails you receive from Connect are sent to the address the organizer entered.
Retention and deletion
Workspace content is kept while the workspace is active so that organizations can keep their history. Archived events remain stored. Existing records and logos are preserved even when a workspace exceeds a Starter limit. To ask for correction or deletion of your information, email us. Organizers control much of the content, so we may need to refer your request to the organization. Backups and logs may persist for a limited time after deletion.
Security
We use access controls, authenticated sessions and private storage for documents, and we transmit data over encrypted connections. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not promise that it will be. Protect your password and tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorized access.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information. Contact us to make a request and we will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first.
Changes
We may update this policy as Connect changes. The version label above will change, and we will make material changes visible in the product or by email where practical.
